Hi,
I have a domain and hosting plan with Namecheap; this means I can’t use their Advance DNS but rather I have to use CPanel’s Zone editor to add any zone records.
I have tried to create a subdomain, say dev.domain.com, and point it to DigitalOcean IP by adding an “A” record in CPanel.
But when I open dev.domain.com, I get a sorry page from CPanel. If I open the IP address, I can access DIgitalOcean droplet.
Any idea on how to overcome this problem?
