My domain is through Dreamhost and I have it hosted on DO. Does anyone have experience setting up an email address on Dreamhost to forward to another email address?
I set it up on Dreamhost and tried to email that address, but it doesn’t work. Not sure if sending an email to noreply@domain.com is trying to go to DO or to Dreamhost’s service.

No problem to use dreamhost email. Resgister the domain on both dreamhost and digitalocean making the DH registration “DNS Only”. Register the emails on DH. On domains listing, click on DNS and copy all email related entries to the DigitalOcean domain ( MX, TXT and A records ). Yours emails will starting to working once the DNS propagation is complete.
