I have a droplet that powers a number of blogs and have already set up a regular backup of the database. Now I wanted to secure the files.
DigitalOcean offers the option of backups when you create a droplet. This one however is already running for quite some time and the DNS has been configured with its IP address.
Is there any way I can set up the backups without having to destroy and rebuild from an image?
I’m asking because I would like to preserve the IP address and avoid reconfiguring the DNS records again.
