Free Trial status

So, I want to know if my free trial is activated. I don’t want to get charged yet as I’m testing what can I do on digital ocean and overall speed of the machines before we move our production servers to the new provider. Where I can find that information?

Hello, @def750

You need to enter a valid credit/debit card or make a deposit via PayPal in order to use the any Free Trial Pack. Keep in mind that this is needed in order to verify your account and once done you will not be charged.

The promo code field should be visible in the Billing section of your account, as shown in the link provided bellow:

Once the transaction is approved and the funds are available in your DigitalOcean account you should be good to go. If you’re still having issues with this you can also contact our amazing support team and they will assist you with adding the GitHub Education promo code.

DigitalOcean billing cycles are monthly. Your account balance accrues over the course of the calendar month based on the cost of the resources you use. We are also required by law to apply taxes for certain countries.

We automatically invoice and charge your account’s primary payment method on the first day of each month for the previous month’s usage, or partway through the month if you exceed your account’s usage threshold.
