Hi,
I’ve register a domain name with GoDaddy.
I’ve created a droplet on Digital Ocean.
Am i right in saying i now need to click into DNS at the top of my Digital Ocean account and add a DNS:
01 - enter domain name (without www.) 02 - enter ip address [WHAT IP ADDRESS…MY DROPLET IP ADDRESS?] 03 - select droplet
Do i also need to add other records / settings and what IP address?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi,
If you select the droplet where your website run on port 80, the IP field will be filled automatically with the droplet IP address. On the Digital Ocean side, you’ve done all you needed.
You’ll also need to tell GoDaddy to change the DNS for Digital Ocean ones. Everything is explained here.
Hope this helps.
