Ghost + Nginx + Server control panel

Hello,

I have been using the VPS Ghost + Ubuntu 12.04 droplet image, and it works well for me. But now comes the problem where I want to configure an email address with the help of a control panel, such as Vesta, zPanel or Ajenti. The default out-of-the-box Ghost + Nginx configuration doesn’t work with any of these control panels, as they interfere with Nginx some way or another. Some, like Vesta, install Apache, which totally messes up the Nginx configuration for Ghost.

Are there any server administration control panels that can work with Ghost?

Thanks.

As far as I know, no. I also don’t recommend installing a control panel as it only makes stuff more complicated and creates another layer of issues.

If you really need to use a control panel, I would recommend installing something like iRedMail on a separate droplet.
