Question

How does DO send in pricing data to 3rd party service providers ?

Does the DO send in data to 3rd party service providers like ploi.io via an updated API or does ploi staff need to update the data manually ?

For example, when I tried to create a server via ploi, I wanted to select the 1GB Intel option which is $7 per month on DO pricing but ploi is showing €6.

What’s the calculation ?

1024MB RAM - CPU 1 core(s) - Disk: 25GB - Price: €6,00 monthly (s-1vcpu-1gb-intel)

Hi there,

As far as I can see, you will link your DigitalOcean account directly with ploi.io via an API key.

So you will be actually charged via DigitalOcean for your server resources as normal and ploi.io would only charge you for their own plans.

Hope that this helps!

Best,

Bobby
