when I used vim command to open editor then I used --INSERT-- command for editing in file but after that on the time of save or exit my file then ubuntu 18.04 terminal stuck .Since 15 hours Nothing happen.

i got the same problem. something went wrong with my ssh key and only option is to login on the window console and got stuck. still after 24hours

Have you tried typing CTRL+C to see if this will make a difference?
