I am building a Nuxt 3 app and am deploying it on the Digital Ocean App platform, however, it depends on playwright, so I went into the Console tab and installed its dependencies manually using npx playwright install-deps. This requires being a superuser though and I am prompted with a password. What kind of password is that?

Hi there,
On the DigitalOcean App Platform, the deployment processes are managed by the platform itself, and users don’t have direct superuser access for security and abstraction purposes.
For dependencies like Playwright, you should not need to manually install them. Instead, specify them in your package.json file, and the App Platform should handle the installation for you during the build process.
Also after making any changes to your package.json file, make sure to run npm update and also commit your package lock file as well.
If the default build process does not install all necessary dependencies for Playwright, you may need to use a custom build command or script that properly handles these dependencies within the permissions allowed by the App Platform.
Let me know how it goes!
Best,
Bobby
