I am using WordPress on Ubuntu 18.04 droplet.
I would like to add volume to /var/www/html/wp-content/uploads to store media files.
What are the exact SSH commands and steps I need to take?

This is really well documented in the Digital Ocean’s official documentation. They have a step by step guide on how to How to Manually Format, Mount, and Partition Volumes here:

You just need to change the mount point to match your uploads directory.
