I have had an app running in digital ocean which is a laravel app that is deployed from my github repo, and I need to hook it up to my redis server which is also hosted in a Droplet in DO. How do I go about doing this if I am not using a DockerFile to set up my app?
I have a few droplets also running the app, they connect to redis without issue, its just the public version of my app in the Apps section of Digital Ocean.
I have searched around and cannot find anyone mentioning this. Sorry if I have missed something obvious.

Hi there,
I believe that this should work by adding that information to your composer.json
file:
For example:
{ 'require': { 'ext-redis': '*' } }
And then you can deploy your app as normal to the App Platform.
Let me know how it goes!
Best,
Bobby
