How to host multiple domains on one Droplet using CentOs WebPanel, not NGINX nor Virtual Hosts?

I have three domains registered with GoDaddy. I want to take the website files associated with these domains and sub-domains and host them on a Droplet and ensure my website files point to the right domain and sub-domain. I’ve added the domains to DO and changed the name servers in GoDaddy.

My contractor (a PHP Developer from India) installed CentOS Web Panel (CWP) on the Droplet and has had issues achieving our requirements and issues with showing a test website. I’m not a developer but I assume CWP works like Plesk where you can host multiple websites on multiple domains using the Plesk hosting control panel. We’d like to accomplish something similar with CWP to avoid using NGINX or Virtual Hosts which would be more difficult as I’ll likely need to do this myself and I’m not a developer.

I’d like to see if someone can offer the precise steps on how we would be able to host our multiple websites aligned to their correct domains and sub-domains on one Droplet specifically and exclusively by using the CentOS Web Panel. I’ve seen many videos on CWP that claim you must create a package, a new account, ensure the IP is shared for multiple websites and upload the files for the correct path. I’m unsure as to how to proceed so if someone can provide a list of resources to follow and in the correct order, it might prove helpful.

Our websites aren’t currently showing and this might hurt our business so we’d appreciate anyone’s prompt assistance with this and it might prove useful for others looking to transition way from GoDaddy to DO for their hosting needs. Thanks!

Thanks Jason. My contractor supposedly installed NGINX but apparently incorrectly. We’ll try to find a different approach this time with a different contractor. Thanks again for your response, it’s most appreciated!

In order to host multiple websites you are not going to get away with not using a Web Server Virtual Host (NGINX/Apache/HAProxy/Monkey) be it configured manually or via CWP.

Best suggestion is to start with CWP Docs and their VHost Documentation

You will find the process of hosting multiple domains in CentOS Web Panel to be fairly friendly. I found a tutorial on how to add domains from their panel:
