I have $100 credit that is valid for 1 year through GitHub student’s pack, I am not using it currently, how can I pause my subscription so that my credits validity period remains the same after I resume my subscription.

I don’t think that’s an option to be honest. The Credit you receive on different occasions like Student Credit is for a time period and can’t be paused.
