Hi Team,
I have created a users in linux and I’m trying to restrict user to create subfolders in their home directory but they should still be able to post the files.
User shouldn’t be able to create subfolders from whereever they login. For example, if login from filezilla, winscp etc, also they shouldn’t be able to create subdirectories but should able to post or upload files.
Can someone help me please?

Hi there @viniprince39,
I don’t think that there is an easy way of achieving this.
As of the time being, I believe that allowing users to create files but not creating directories is currently not possible with the ext4 file system.
A workaround would be to disable the access to the mkdir command for the specific users. That way they will not be able to create directories.
Regards, Bobby
