Hey!

You don’t need to set a payment plan manually, DigitalOcean charges you based on usage. Just add a valid payment method under Billing → Payment Methods, and you’ll be billed monthly based on what you use.

You only need to a add a valid payment method under your account and you’re good to go. Also if you require to setup only billing access to your account you can use the teams feature:
