Hello Team,
I would like to know if there is a way to stop the cluster or the service to test its functionality. While I noticed the option to destroy the database cluster, my intention is to stop the database cluster temporarily rather than destroy it. Could you please confirm if this is possible?

I don’t think that the DigitalOcean Managed Databases currently have an option to stop or pause a cluster temporarily.
The only available actions are to resize, scale, or destroy the cluster. If you need to test functionality while reducing costs, here are a couple of options:
- You can take a snapshot of the database, destroy the cluster, and then restore it later when needed. This way you can recreate the cluster with the same data.
- Temporarily resize the cluster to a smaller size to reduce costs during your testing period.
