Hi all, Maybe I have a very simple question, but I cannot find an ideal solution yet. Firstly, I am completely new to Postgresql database. I followed tutorials to know the basics.
So, I am expecting to post data to Digitalocean from a Raspberry PI. I was thinking of using Node-red. Because of the error: “Self-signed certificate in certificate chain” I could only read from the database, not write to it. I could not find a way to add the CA file into Node-red so I gave up on that. From the tutorials, everything seems like creating a local database on my RPi and playing around with it using the CLI. Can anyone please tell me what platform to write data to the cloud? (I also use TablePlus but seem like my database on DigitalOcean is empty)
Thank you in advance.

Hello,
With the Managed databases you need to also download the CA certificate and add it to your SQL client. That way you will be able to connect to your databases.
You can follow the steps on how to do that here:
https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/databases/postgresql/how-to/connect/
Let me know how it goes. Regards, Bobby
