How to use owncloud with remote domain with SSL installed

So I’ve got a new digitalocean owncloud server, and its all setup, with digitaloceans ip address.

I want to use my own domain name, which has ssl already installed.

instead of typing http://ipaddress/ to access it, i want to type to get to the owncloud log in screen.

Is this possible? is it done thru DNS?

Will the owncloud server be protected with SSL certification if my domain has it installed?
