What is the reason for this report?

I am getting the following error after following your instrutions

MongoDB shell version v4.4.5 connecting to: mongodb://127.0.0.1:27017/?compressors=disabled&gssapiServiceName=mongodb Error: couldn’t connect to server 127.0.0.1:27017, connection attempt failed: SocketException: Error connecting to 127.0.0.1:27017 :: caused by :: Connection refused : connect@src/mongo/shell/mongo.js:374:17 @(connect):2:6 exception: connect failed exiting with code 1

I take it you are following a tutorial and experiencing this issue, is that correct? If so, can you please provide me with the tutorial so that I know what to look at?

Additionally, the error

 connection attempt failed: SocketException: Error connecting to 127.0.0.1:27017 :: caused by :: Connection refused :
connect@src/mongo/shell/mongo.js:374:17

Suggests you were not able to reach the mongodb server. Are you sure it’s running? Can you please try to start it and see if it would work then?
