I tried adding the ip adress as covered here, but I can’t seem to access it over http, or ping it (ssh login works fine). How do I connect to my droplet. Sorry I’m a newb at this

I had a similar problem and it was caused by firewalld which was enabled and started by default in Fedora. It was allowing SSH but blocking everything else.
What have you installed on the droplet? Is there a webserver running? Did you set up a firewall? Without more information, it is hard to give you a detailed answer.
