Putty keeps timing out when I try to open it with the correct IP address and port number.
I followed this tutorial: https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/initial-server-setup-with-ubuntu-12-04
I made sure I entered the updated port number and correct ip address and it just keeps timing out. It says" connect timing out" anyone have any ideas?

Did you have any firewall running? If so, you will now have to recreate your droplet… Did you test your new configuration before closing your connection, as explained in that tutorial? If not, you could have known it didnt work.
