Your setup seems to be somewhat complicated so it won’t be good to actually give you the exact answer, if there is any.
I’ve went through the documentation of https://github.com/Rob–W/cors-anywhere and it does seems like it just provides some sort of API calls for your application.
If you are experiencing issues like high load whenever you get high traffic of people watching your videos, I’ll recommend upgrading your droplet to be the first step. The next step would be building a custom droplet. You’ve mentioned using Plesk. It’s a great control panel however these control panels are very limiting. They are great for standard websites however for something more custom, you need a custom solution. All in all, building a custom droplet to your needs is something I’ll recommend.
