Iredmail server not accepting emails

Posted on May 12, 2020

I recently created an iredmail email server through ubuntu 20.4. It was a fresh server. I am very new to the server world.

None of my emails are being delivered to the web based iredmail inbox. I am able to send emails to gmail with iredmail.

The response i get on gmail when trying to send an email to iredmail is - server is refusing email. I have been trying to figure this out for hours. I have had no luck. The DNS is configured correctly according to the dns tests on the web.

I have no idea what to do from here. if someone could give me some wisdom that would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Hello,

Thanks for including the mail headers. Can you also share any mail headers that contain the refused mail messages?

You can check this tutorial on how to setup dovecot in order to ensure the emails are delivered fine to your mailboxes.
