Is it possible to increase the size of main root partition from the volume storage?

So I have server with 70GB space and I bought 100GB additional volume storage. Is it possible to resize 70GB main disk from the 100GB additional storage?

Heya,

If you want to increase the root partition’s storage, you’ll need to upgrade the Droplet itself.

By definition, it’s a volume storage partition. Volumes are network-based block devices that provide additional data storage for Droplets. You can move them between Droplets, create disk images of them, and resize them at any time.

Basically, you shouldn’t be able to.
