i am new to the game, just deployed my very first droplet, and an a script, would it run 24/7/365 automatically, after I close my own PC?

Hello,
Yes, if the Droplet is once turned on, you don’t need your laptop to stay awake, this is happening in back end already. Ensure that the Droplet is on powered on state.
Ideally it should run all through the year, unless and until, there is an manual intervention either on the hardware side or on your end.
