Is your website hosting service at $5/m running on cpanel?

Hello, I want to move my website to your website hosting service here: https://www.digitalocean.com/solutions/website-hosting/ at $5/m. But does the service run on cpanel and do you also offer emails on your website hosting service?

Hi @ronelgon,

There is a possibility to install cPanel from the MarketPlace :

https://marketplace.digitalocean.com/apps/cpanel-whm

It comes with everything installed that’s needed for cPanel.

Having said that, DigitalOcean provides cloud based hosting droplets. Each droplet will need to be managed by you. In that regard, what I mean is, you’ll need to install and configure everything you need on it on your own. Having said that, as the link above, there are some droplets with ready platforms for immediate use.

Thank you for your reply.But am just used to buying hosting packages with cpanel and with ability to create email account under my domain name.

QNS. Does the package or plan here https://www.digitalocean.com/solutions/website-hosting/ at $5/m., does it enable me to create email accounts (e.g. info@mydomain.com)

I want to buy the package but after understanding what i will get and not get and also what are the other options to get what is not included.

Lastly, i was offered the $100 CREDIT of which am to get after entering my visa card. Does it also work with the web hosting package of $5/m above link ?

You can use the credit with all of the available plans including cPanel/WHM which is available in our marketplace.

cPanel is a third party application managed through our Marketplace. New installations of cPanel come with a 15 day free trial. For further use beyond that point a valid license will need to be purchased directly through cPanel. https://store.cpanel.net/view/cpanel/license-options?type=VPS
