Hello,
I was going through a build of a new server with the LAMP stack on Ubuntu 20.04 and see that it’s been updated with PHP8. Last month, the same image had PHP 7.4.

Is there a changelog or publication date for these marketplace images? I have a web app that was tested with PHP 7.4 and now I have to either revert to 7.4 or go with another image.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks, San

Hello, @SanStar
We have our partners build their images and submit them via our Marketplace Vendor Portal. From there, we test, approve, list the updated image. The vendors are responsible for updating and making changes to their apps.
I’ll double-check this for you and will get back to you.
In the meantime, you can also configure the LAMP Stack on a fresh droplet manually by following our tutorial on How To Install Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP (LAMP) stack on Ubuntu 20.04
