I have a database, a kube cluster and a droplet all in the same VPC, but no matter what I do, the servers can’t access the database over the private network.
They can resolve the IP but all connections timeout. i can’t ping or telnet.
I don’t have a firewall on the database, it is currently set to allow all traffic.
What am I doing wrong? How can I figure that out?

Hi @ShadowRoot,
I would suggest you raise a support ticket with DO, to help you with this.
