I have a a client that I will be setting a Linux instance for and I’m trying to figure out the easiest way to transfer the account? I can either create the droplet on my account and then transfer it when I can get them to sign up… or I can create an account for them and then change all of the credentials and payment info later. What is the easiest fastest way to transfer a node? Do you have reseller options?

You could use Salt Cloud to create & provision the droplet under their account (just create a provider config. file w/their DigitalOcean account’s Client ID & API Key): <a href=“https://www.digitalocean.com/community/articles/automated-provisioning-of-digitalocean-cloud-servers-with-salt-cloud-on-ubuntu-12-04”>Automated Provisioning of DigitalOcean Cloud Servers with Salt Cloud on Ubuntu 12.04</a>
Unfortunately it’s not possible to transfer a droplet to another account. You can however take a snapshot of a droplet and open up a support ticket to get it transferred to another account so you can create a new droplet off of the snapshot under that account. <br> <br>We do not offer reseller options.
