I’m trying to add a managed database to my app on the App Platform however only PostgreSQL is shown when using the ‘add component’ button. Can anyone advise how to create a MySQL database inside the App Platform interface.
There are no further options to change the database type when upgrading to a production database either.

Hello @BongoBrian ,
Looking at the screenshot, you are opting for the Dev Database. For Dev DB, we only provide Postgres, however, if you opt for the production DB, you will be able to select MySQL, Redis and Postgres.

Hope this helps!
