NYC2 block storage availability?

Posted on June 11, 2021

Is there still a plan to make block storage volumes available in NYC2? I haven’t found any discussion of it since 2017.

Hello @jfb ,

Thanks for reaching out! NYC2 is a legacy location, meaning no new resources can be created there. Unfortunately, new products and features will not be made available there.

However we have two locations - NYC1 and NYC3 in the NY region in which all the products are available. You can check our availability matrix here. https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/platform/availability-matrix/

Hope this helps!

Cheers, Lalitha

Quick update here, NYC2 is back and better than ever! 🚀

It now features expanded capacity and NVIDIA H100 GPUs to handle AI, machine learning, and resource-heavy workloads.
