Hello, @godfreyeretu
Did you setup your ssh keys when you were creating the droplets? I assume you have Password Authentication disabled and that’s why you don’t get a password prompt when you try to login.
Another thing to mention is that when you try to ssh into the server, the characters you enter during the password prompt are not displayed by default, so keep this in mind as well. When you get the password prompt you need to enter your password and you’re good to go.
You can follow this tutorial in order to add your ssh keys to your existing droplets:
https://www.digitalocean.com/docs/droplets/how-to/add-ssh-keys/to-existing-droplet/
You can access your droplets using the console from the control panel and import the content of your id_rsa.pub file into the authorized_keys file. The location of the file should be here: ~/.ssh/authorized_keys by default
Let me know how it goes.
Regards, Alex
Dear All, Sorry to keep coming again and again. I have run docker-compose build and it can’t find a .yml or a .yam1 file. i need a step by step since i am not a savvy guy. Thanks
Just in case you don’t know, in linux you watch nothing when typing the password. So you can be writting the right password withous noticing.
