Nope, you don’t have to pay just to learn.
You can explore docs, tutorials, and the community for free. But if you want to deploy actual servers (Droplets) or use services like App Platform or Spaces, then you’ll need to pay, usually a few dollars to start.
Tip: DigitalOcean also gives out $200 in free credits for new users! So you just need to verify your account with a valid card or PayPal and you will have lots of free credits to experiment with!
