Paypal Payment End of Month

Posted on February 25, 2021

Hi DO Team,

I see this message on Paypal Payment Tab: To use PayPal as your payment method, you will need to make pre-payments each month before your bill is due.

Does it mean, I am not able to add funds into DO using Paypal in the middle of the month?

Whenever I proceed with Paypal payments, I am receiving the OTP from by bank, After transaction I am able to see Paypal Payment Processing message but no funds were added into the DO account and no deduction from my bank as well.

FYI, Last month I did Paypal payments successfully.

Hello @simhadri

Yes, you can add the credits at any part of the month. There are restrictions on that, however you will need to ensure that you have enough funds available to cover the charges on 1st of every month to prevent a billing hold on the account.

Once you add the credits, it would take anytime from 1-72 hours for the payment to be posted on your account. During this time, it will be in pending state.

I hope this answers.

Cheers, Sri Charan

Hello there,

We accept pre-payment using PayPal but you cannot use it as your primary payment method.

When using PayPal, your account balance will update after your payment is processed, which often takes several hours due to PayPal’s processing. PayPal also sometimes holds payments for up to 72 hours, meaning PayPal has received your money but hasn’t sent it to us yet, but the payment will still apply once PayPal releases it.
