Hi, I’m new to DigitalOcean and want to give it a try for our Prestashop sites. I’m currently hesitating betweeb Google Cloud, IONOS, OVH and DigitalOcean. I dont have any knowledge of server administration and looking for a managed solution. I have read that DigitalOcean requires a some technical skills to set a great instance to be fast and to a maximum of performance. I saw you are partner with cloudways, i sent them a message an hour ago through the chat but no one seems to be answering, not so reassuring! What do you recommend? Regards

Glad you’re giving DigitalOcean a shot, Reda! If you want something managed and don’t want to deal with the server setup, Cloudways PrestaShop hosting is a great option, it runs on DigitalOcean and handles all the updates, backups, and performance tweaks for you.
If you’re a bit more hands-on or want to try it yourself, you can also launch PrestaShop with one click using the DigitalOcean Marketplace app. It’s not fully managed, but a good starting point if you want to learn.
If you’re looking for peace of mind and minimal maintenance, Cloudways is the way to go. I’ve used both, and for non-technical users, Cloudways makes things super smooth.
