RAM, memory usage GRAPH over time

Posted on October 8, 2013

Anyone who knows a way to see memory usage over time? Like if I did “free -m” every second 24h. Preferably as a graph to see when and why peak values occur and to better estimate how much RAM my VPS needs (Ubuntu 12.04, 64bit LEMP running Joomla with community members image uploads etc.)

As of January '17, DigitalOcean launched a service that provides better graphs which includes the ability to track RAM/Memory usage over time. To read more about this, see capabilities and get instructions for how to get this functionality for your Droplets, check out this link to the official blog post: https://www.digitalocean.com/company/blog/improved-graphs/

Would like to see droplet based memory consumption graphs as well! It’s 2014 already!
