Hello,
I received an DMCA email from digital ocean abuse 3 days ago saying to remove the content within 3 days or my droplet my be disabled.
I get that it’s important to take these seriously (and I wouldn’t want to use the services of a company that didn’t take them seriously) but it’s clearly false and the form forwarded is both incomplete in inaccurate.
They are claiming screen shots of website they don’t own is copywrite, it’s definitely falls under fair use, they didn’t fill in the copywriters name and they didn’t fill in the details of the copyrwite claims - just a link to a blog that is private.
I replied to the email from digital ocean and haven’t heard anything back for 48 hours. I then pasted my response into the ticket 03464799 and haven’t heard back.
Is there any other way to contact digital ocean to deal with a false DMCA?
Thanks

Hey @Greenspark,
In our public community, we aim to answer open questions about anything SysAdmin, DigitalOcean and beyond. However, we make every attempt to keep personal information safe and so don’t ever access personal account information here. This means we can’t provide help with any account or billing-related issues.
I have asked our amazing support team to check-in on your ticket. They will be able to help you further where we cannot! :)
Hope that helps! - Matt.
