RoundCube Email with EasyEngine running Wordpress site

Posted on March 30, 2020

Hi, I have installed a wordpress site using EasyEngine. I have set up ContactForm7 plugin that displays a contact form on my contact page.

When I send message through the contact form, it sends email to the personal email id that I have set up in ContactForm7 as receiver. This is great.

But there is no way I can send back an email response to the user who sends me email. I can only receive emails.

Instead of personal email id, I want to change the receiver to custom email like email@mydomain.com.

So that when someone sends me email through the contact form, then I recieve message at this custom email id. And I should be able to reply through this email id instead of my personal email.

Therefore, I want to setup something like Roundcube email client and activate a custom email like contact@mydomain.com so that I can send email to users thorugh this mail.

I heard somewhere that I can setup RoundCube on EasyEngine, but I find no tutorials anywhere on the internet or here in DigitalOcean repository for this.

I also tried to install mail using ee stack install mail or ee stack install --mail but got error saying Stack is not a registered ee command.

Please help.
