So far I have managed to install CentOS 7 and Webmin. I have followed this guide in attempt to replace my FTP with SFTP… https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-configure-proftpd-to-use-sftp-instead-of-ftp
For now FTP is still running and working, yet SFTP isn’t. I am getting the following error… Status: Connecting to 000.000.000.000:2222… Response: fzSftp started, protocol_version=4 Command: keyfile “C:\Users\Public\Documents\Server Keys\Private.ppk” Command: open “sftpuser@000.000.000.000” 2222 Error: Network error: Connection refused
I have added my ip address into the iptables and I am allowed to connect to any port so I don’t believe this is the problem.
I have however changed the SSH port by default from 22 to port 121, will have have any effect?
