Should old DNS records be deleted after changing Nameservers to Digitaloceans?

Posted on July 26, 2015

Domain aitologia.com is registered with GoDaddy. I have changed the nameservers and added A- and CNAME-records in Digitaloceans control panes as advised in this excellent tutorial: https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-set-up-a-host-name-with-digitalocean Correct me if I am wrong, but as far as I understand after the nameservers are changed all the old DNS records in the GoDaddys control panel have no effect and can/should be deleted to avoid confusion?

Regards, Vasily
