I want to integrate a new relic with the digital ocean app platform in my node.js application, in the documentation of the new relic there is no option for that, the same with the digital ocean, since I can’t install the new relic in the app platforom.

Hi there,
I recently had a similar discussion here:
Besically, it should be ok to use their browser monitoring as it is just a matter of adding a single JavaScript snippet to your
<meta>
tag.You can follow the steps on how to do that here:
https://docs.newrelic.com/docs/browser/browser-monitoring/installation/install-browser-monitoring-agent/
Their PHP server metrics would not really work in this specific case due to the App Platform architecture I believe as you will not be able to install the New Relic agent:
https://docs.newrelic.com/docs/apm/agents/php-agent/installation/php-agent-installation-overview/#partnership-accounts
An option might be to create a Dockerfile and use that to add custom packages in there, which should work with the New Relic agent.
Hope that this helps!
Best,
Bobby
