Edit: I figured it out. “reload ssh” doesn’t work, but “sudo service ssh restart” does. Carry on!
Hi,
I followed the instructions here, and now my /etc/ssh/sshd_config looks like this (in the relevant section):
# Authentication:
LoginGraceTime 120
PermitRootLogin without-password
StrictModes yes
However, I’m still able to log in as root with my password, even from another machine. Note, when I enter the command “reload ssh”, I get the following error message:
reload: Name "com.ubuntu.Upstart" does not exist
