Hi, I’m new at this vps issues and i cant type “/” on my macbook pro. Is there a trick or something?

I install and reconfigure de console-data but cant still write /, i’m working on a macbook pro. Any idea why?
I’m using de qwerty configuration and Latin American, I try with Spanish- Apple USB and nothing!!!

Are you using a non-English keyboard layout? Try running the following command and selecting the correct layout:
sudo dpkg-reconfigure console-data
You may need to install the console-data package first:
sudo apt-get install console-data
