I haven’t seen an official guide for running Grafana Alloy on App Platform yet. In theory it should work if you bring your own Dockerfile that installs Alloy and sets it up as part of your app container, but I’m not entirely sure if there are any restrictions that might block it.
If you give it a try, I’d recommend checking the App Platform custom Dockerfile docs and making sure Alloy runs as a non-root process. Might be worth also asking the DigitalOcean support to confirm whether Alloy is expected to work in that environment.
