I created a sudo user as instructed here: https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-create-a-new-sudo-enabled-user-on-ubuntu-20-04-quickstart
When I test the user like this: sudouser@my-droplet:~$ su - sudouser
–> I get this result: sudouser is not in the sudoers file. This incident will be reported.
I would appreciate if the tut would add a link to what to do if this happens.

Hi @0LL13,
It seems like you’ve missed adding the user to the sudo group. Can you please check STEP 3 from the tutorial again and see if it will help you out:
Step 3 — Adding the User to the sudo Group Use the usermod command to add the user to the sudo group:
usermod -aG sudo sammy
Again, be sure to replace sammy with the username you just added. By default on Ubuntu, all members of the sudo group have full sudo privileges.
