Question

Where does the Deno application need to be pushed at for automatic deployment ?

https://deno.land/manual@v1.28.1/advanced/deploying_deno/digital_ocean

1.This pushes the docker image to Digital Ocean Container Registry - then why do I also need a Droplet ?

2.To where do I push my Deno TS files app ? To my GitHub repo ? I don’t see this being mentioned at the above link.

Hi there,

The Docker Container Registry is where your image is stored at. If you want to run a container based off of that image, then you would need to either create a Droplet and start your Container on there or use the or use the DigitalOcean App Platform to run your app there:

https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/app-platform/how-to/deploy-from-container-images/

For the difference between a Docker image and a Docker container I could suggest this free eBook here:
