Hello, @hussaind

The Laravel marketplace app will speed the installation process for you

Also, you can check the software that is installed and if it is suitable for your needs then you can use the marketplace application.

If you already have a running Laravel site that you want to migrate to DigitalOcean you can simply migrate it to on a fresh droplet instead of using the Marketplace Laravel Application.

If you require a control panel you can use the cPanel/WHM or Plesk, but it this is not a must, then you can simply spin up an Ubuntu droplet and then migrate your existing site.

Hope that this helps! Regards, Alex

Hi @hussaind,

Each has advantages and you can install Laravel or cPanel/WHM to each. If you know how to configure your Laravel Project, I’ll go with th cPanel/WHM droplet rather than the other way around.

cPanel does need some configuring and installing Laravel will take up less time. Additionally, cPanel comes with all that a Laravel app might need so it would just be a matter of installing Laravel without having to install any services ( most probably).
