I get dynamic data based on wildcard subdomain for each users, I am trying to map to alias domain, it works perfectly upon mapping but the issue is am not able to pass parameter in url properly in vhost
Example: When i enter aliasdomain1.com i get error only if i specify aliasdomain1.com/?username=name
/var/www/domain.com/dir1/dir2/dir3/dir4/dir5/index.php?username=wildcard1
Try 1
<VirtualHost *:443>
ServerName wildcard1.domain.com
ServerAlias aliasdomain1.com
DocumentRoot /var/www/domain.com/dir1/dir2/dir3/dir4/dir5
</VirtualHost>
Try 2
<VirtualHost *:443>
ServerName wildcard2.domain.com
ServerAlias aliasdomain2.com
DocumentRoot /var/www/domain.com/dir1/dir2/dir3/dir4/dir5
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^wildcard\.domain\.com$ [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*) http://www.aliasdomain2.com/$1 [L,R]
</VirtualHost>

Hi there,
I believe that wildcards can only be used as ServerAlias rather than the ServerName. You could give the following a try:
<VirtualHost *:80>
ServerName domain.com
ServerAlias *.example.com
DocumentRoot /var/www/domain.com/dir1/dir2/dir3/dir4/dir5
</VirtualHost>

Bobby
