Hello @happynavyshark
As mentioned our billing cycles are monthly. You can add credit balances using Paypal and use them to cover the monthly invoices instead of paying them each month.
If you have both credit card and credits via PayPal, credits via PP have priority so they’ll be used first. If you run out of credit before the end of the month, your credit card will be charged for that overage at the beginning of next.

Hi @happynavyshark,
DigitalOcean billing cycles are monthly. Your account balance accrues over the course of the calendar month based on the cost of the resources you use.
More about that here:
https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/billing/
In other words, it’s impossible to have an invoice generated for a year ahead just because there is no way of knowing if you’ll use more resources and have a higher or lower bill to pay.
Having said that, While DigitalOcean doesn’t offer a pre-payment plan, or payment plan, due to the unknown amount of usage, they do offer PayPal as a payment method. The first option using PayPal is to pay each month. The second option, or what you are interested in is to add credit to your account to what you believe the usage will be. It’s not a perfect solution but maybe it can be of help in your situation.
