The docs say: You cannot currently create wildcard SSL certificates using DigitalOcean’s Let’s Encrypt integration.
It’s been a long time since let’s encrypt added support for this. Any news on this front? This is a major blocker.

Same problem with paid ssl certificates. Unable to use them as wildcard. I want to use it for spaces. But I can only use 1 subdomain. Now I uploaded the certificate saying it is a subdomain of the domain. But also unable to upload certificate second time with other subdomain because fingerprint is the same.
Hello,
We know it’s been a long time but we haven’t got around to do it yet. We do plan to support it, but we don’t have an ETA to share on that yet, we hope you understand.
Best regards
